Through the stable door you enter directly into the sitting room. There is a comfortable 3 seater sofa, which converts into a sofa bed. There is a wood burning stove, and under floor heating under the beautiful slabbed floor for added luxury. There is a TV, DVD and CD player with board games, puzzles and DVDs for quiet nights in!

This leads straight into the kitchen, which is fully equipped with dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave, oven, washer/dryer, and everything you would expect from a fully functioning kitchen, with general provisions provided (tea, coffee, sugar, milk, local cheeses, homemade bread and chutney, washing up liquid, washing detergents).

Upstairs, the bed room is a wonderful space full of character, with exposed beams and stone walls, a gorgeous king sized bed made with luxury eqyptian bed linen, with beautiful views from both windows. There is a TV and a hairdryer in the bedroom.

The tiled bathroom leads from the bedroom, and has the feeling of a luxurious hotel suite, with a huge powerful shower and complimentary toiletries, decorated in calming colours.

The garden is a small patio garden, surrounded by flowers on all sides. There is a small table and chairs to sit and enjoy an evening drink, whilst listening to the birds evensong. 

​

The owners and their two sons have access through the garden, but they will be discreet - although they can’t promise the same for the dogs!

​

First load of logs and kindling are free, £10/load after that. 

Vanessa provides a welcome basket, with tea, coffee, milk, sugar, fresh fruit, home baked bread, orange juice, homemade chutney and English cheeses. Groceries can be pre ordered, by home delivery. Please speak to Vanessa to arrange.

All bed linen and duvets are provided.

​

A travel cot and cot linen, highchair, and stair gate can be provided if requested.

​

The local area is great for walking and cycling, and there are many local attractions - all information for these can be found in the cottage. Bike hire can be pre-arranged. Please speak to Vanessa. If you bring your own bikes, secure lock-up can be provided in the owners shed.

DOVE COTTAGE IS A NON-SMOKING COTTAGE

​

Up to 2 well behaved dogs are allowed (regret no cats or birds) if prior arrangements are made at time of booking at a cost of £20 per dog per week - however we must enforce a few rules that must be adhered to:

• Dog bowl, dog bed and dog treats are provided for use whilst staying at the cottage. 

• Clear up any dog mess. Poo bags can be provided if requested. there is a disposal bin opposite the cottage by the Wells.

• Dog food can be pre-ordered at cost, or purchased from the owners @ £1.50/day/dog during the vacation.

• Don't leave dog unattended in Cottage.

• No dogs allowed upstairs (a stairgate is provided)

• Please be aware the owners have dogs themselves. ​

BREAKAGES AND DAMAGES must be brought to the owners attention, and paid for and replaced before departure.
